Both Deceased Students Revealed in the Ivy League School Incident as Police Press On With Hunt for Perpetrator.

Two students who died in Saturday’s mass shooting at Brown University had tributes paid to them on Monday – while an intensive search for their shooter persisted following the discharge by Rhode Island officials of the only individual questioned in the case.

Honoring a Lost Student

The young woman Ella Cook, a second-year student from Alabama, was remembered as “an incredible, grounded, faithful, bright light”, as stated by the Advent Cathedral in Birmingham, which paid tribute to her at a gathering on Sunday.

She served as vice-president of Brown’s division of the College Republicans organization, according to the organization. Karoline Leavitt also expressed sympathies publicly, remarking: “Words cannot express. Keeping in mind her loved ones and companions, especially her parents.”

The Second Victim

The other deceased individual was an Uzbek national named MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, from Uzbekistan in his initial year at the renowned school, his family confirmed.

Umurzokov’s identity was officially acknowledged by the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“He was incredibly kind, funny, and smart. His ambitions were lofty of entering the field of neurosurgery and assisting patients,” Samira Umurzokova, his sister said in a tribute.

What Happened

Authorities said on Sunday evening that a 24-year-man detained in a search at a Hampton Inn about around 27 kilometers from the university earlier in the day was set to be freed.
